DULUTH, MN

Renovated and new office spaces, a library, meeting, conference and training rooms were part of a phased addition and modernization of the EPA's Great Lakes Research/Training Facility in Duluth, Minnesota. The new Agency headquarters was designed by SFA Architects, the parent company of PDT Architects.

The existing administration wing was expanded to include open office system layouts, private suites, conference rooms and enhanced data connectivity throughout to handle the agencies increased workload. A library/research area was modernized and a new lobby/conference area completed the facility. A complete mechanical upgrade, power, lighting, and data access was part of the project.
